Job Orders

Job Orders is a module created to give users the ability to create and assign job orders to their units to monitor the workflow and track the routes of those units and detect any violations of units working without a job order. Job Orders Module consists of two tabs; Job orders and Job orders Categories.

Some of the Job Orders Module benefits include:

  • Notifications about units carrying out job orders
  • Notifications about units entering/exiting a geofence or reaching a point on the route.
  • Alerts about units moving without a job order.
  • Alerts about temperature.

1- Job orders

 

How to add a job order:

In order to create a job order, click the (+) sign in the action bar.

A new window will appear with the following fields:

  • Job Order Number: the number or name of the job order which can be entered manually or automatically by locking the job order number in the user profile.
  • Points Type: routs, geofences, or points.

  • Planned Arrival Date: the date and time of the unit leaving the warehouse.
  • Planned Start Date: the date and time of the start of the trip.
  • Planned End Date: is the date and time of the end of the trip.
  • Start Warehouse: the warehouse from which the trip starts.
  • Job Order Category
  • Unit
  • Trailer: if there is a trailer bound to the trailer.
  • End Warehouse: the warehouse at which the trip ends.
  • Drivers
  • Contacts
  • Quantity
  • Job Order Status: scheduled, pending, in-progress, completed, closed, canceled.
  • Cost
  • Geofences: choose the geofences the unit is allowed to enter.
  • Comments

–        Click Save to create the job order.

2- Job Order Categories

Job order categories tab is dedicated to categorizing job orders according to cargo type and measurement type.

How to add a job order category:

In order to create a job order category, click the (+) sign in the action bar.

A new window will appear with the following fields:

Name: Job order name.

Measurement Type: weight, volume, count, length.

Measurement Unit: Gram, KG, Ton, Pound, Ounce.

Min Temperature: The minimum temperature for the shipped cargo.

Max Temperature: The maximum temperature for the shipped cargo.

  • Click Save to create the job order category.
